When done correctly, Pilates exercise improves alignment and posture, body awareness and flexibility, as well as balance— all of which helps injury prevention, recovery, and improve performance.

Pilates workout is an excellent complement to physical therapy services and can be done at Phoenix’s St. Mary’s location, including pop pilates and pilates for men.

Practiced faithfully, Pilates can:

  • Increase lung capacity and circulation through deep, healthy breathing.
  • Integrate strength and flexibility, particularly of the deep core, abdomen and back muscles; mind-body coordination; balance and body awareness
