Sarah S. Taliaferro, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

“In over 20 years of clinical practice, I have never seen two patients who were the same. The best physical therapy is the most tailored physical therapy. My primary mechanism for this is open, continuous dialogue with my patient. I see this partnership as essential for success. It starts the moment I meet someone new and continues through their discharge and beyond. My patients understand what they are seeking to accomplish, why they are on their particular track, and their role in a successful outcome. They know because we fully collaborated in establishing their course.”

Adds Sarah, “The human body is such a beautiful, complex machine. The longer I do this, the more I realize that I haven’t even scratched the surface of all there is to know about physical therapy. It drives me always to be learning.  It compels me to be continually asking, “but why?”.  I call it channeling my inner two-year-old.  That motivation helps me find the root cause of the issue at hand, which allows me not only treat the current condition but see and prevent potential future ones.”

Sarah joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy team in 2019.  Her 20 plus years of clinical experience allows her to treat all types of adult diagnoses.  Plus, she has advanced training in women’s health, dry needling, vestibular, and concussion rehabilitation.

Sarah has been a resident of Dunwoody since 2013. She is married with two daughters and a dog named Bacon. Sarah is active in her church and as a life-long learner, has her pilot’s license, scuba certification, and is learning to play the drums.
