Monica Johnson, PT, DPT

Facility Director / Physical Therapist

“Effective patient care is hands-on and individualized.  Thorough anatomical and biomechanical assessments are necessary to identify mechanical dysfunctions.  Even still, this approach is incomplete without holistically keeping the patient in mind and placing his/her functional goals at the forefront of care.”

Monica joined the PHOENIX team in 2018 as facility director and lead physical therapist for PHOENIX’s outpatient physical therapy center in Etters.  Here, she is an integral part of the overall development and growth of the facility.

Monica’s clinical expertise focuses on functional rehabilitation and hands-on care.  Her previous experience includes two years as an outpatient director in a moderate-sized facility, and six years in the home health setting serving the Central PA region.

Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, biking, and playing video games with her three children.  Additionally, when she isn’t involved in activities with her family, she likes to read and crochet in her free time.

Monica currently resides in North York County with her spouse and three children.
