Ashley Rader, PT, DPT
Facility Director / Physical Therapist
“I treat my patients just as I would my own family and truly enjoy what I do.! That’s why I take a patient-centered treatment approach:
-Manual (hands-on) techniques to improve joint and spinal mobility and soft tissue mobilization
-Specific, individualized exercises and stretches to help restore strength, soft tissue extensibility and address asymmetries in muscle function, and
-Patient education regarding work and recreational activities, ergonomics, and postural issues that may be contributing to the dysfunction.”
Ashley joined the PHOENIX Rehabilitation team in 2019 as the Herndon Facility Director. She brings nine years of clinical experience to her patients, specifically in the treatment of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, as well as injuries to the workers’ compensation population. Ashley’s advanced training includes dry needling and manual therapy certifications. To better serve her community, she is fluent in conversational and medical Spanish.
Outside of the office, Ashely enjoys playing sports, including golf, tennis, soccer, and kickboxing, as well as being a fan, cheering on her favorite teams, the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles. Additionally, Ashley is a long-time supporter of charity golf tournaments for the Penn State University and The National Kidney Foundation.
When she isn’t involved in sporting activities, you might find her enjoying a concert, hiking, or traveling to the beach with her four-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, Panda.
