Coming to PHOENIX after a successful ten-year career at Ensign Group, Anthony was CIO of Pinnacle Senior Living. He has a strong background in Health Information, Mergers and Acquisitions and Vendor relations. Throughout his career, he’s lead numerous technology initiatives as well as develop new IT departments and functions to meet the growth goals of his organizations. Examples include: building IT infrastructure from the ground up, creating and implementing strategic road maps for new business development-growth opportunities. Anthony has traveled to over 120 locations to assess existing IT processes and technologies for prospective acquisitions and also spearheaded the entire process of integrating 150+ acquired facilities with different technology.
Anthony received his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Informatics from Ashford University. While at Pepperdine, Anthony, a U.S. Army veteran, created The Alumni Veterans Affinity Group at Pepperdine University, which benefits veterans in transition from military to civilian careers.
As an active member of CHIME (College of Health Information Management Executives) and HIMSS (Healthcare Information & Management Systems) societies, he is also an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California teaching “Health IT & Patient Engagement.”
