Business Development Coordinator

Location - Corporate

We are searching for a full-time Business Development Coordinator to join our team.  Under the direction of the Vice President of Business Development, this position has the responsibility for ensuring De NoVo project tasks are completed and remain on the timeline for scheduled opening. Additionally, the Development Coordinator is responsible to independently perform all other Development tasks in a timely and professional manner as well as assisting with any or all tasks as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Review and markup leases for De Novo locations.
  • Maintain records of legal entities and corporate filings.
  • Review and analyze diligence documents for acquisition transactions.
  • Manage each De NoVo project Smartsheet tasks and follow-up on task deadlines as necessary.
  • Assist in the application process for building permits, occupancy permits, and business licenses as necessary.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing correspondence, agreements, exhibits, and other legal materials while maintaining version control and generating redlines of same.
  • Responsible for overall development functions in part by scheduling, attending, and direct participation in company and facility meetings.
  • Prepare memorandums to be directed to staff on Development issues.
  • Coordinate purchases of outpatient office equipment, clinical equipment, and supplies for De Novo outpatient offices and oversee the delivery timeframes as per company policy.

  • Follow, track, and support document processes for transitional deals.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Associates degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Paralegal background or paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
  • At least five years of experience in a paralegal, clerical, or administrative role required. Preferably, however, is experience in Healthcare, specifically a Physical Therapy or Rehabilitation facility.
  • Experience in managing lease activities preferred, including but not limited to lease negotiations, reviews of lease language, lease execution, renewals, and expiration.
  • Must possess basic proficiency in English, spelling, and arithmetic.
  • Must be able to pay attention to details and have mature reasoning ability.

  • Provides for the comfort, safety, privacy, and confidentiality of patients.
  • Develops a health profile by taking health and developmental history, performing physical examination, and by analyzing clinical laboratory data, other diagnostic tests, and pertinent psychosocial information.
  • Assesses data on each patient, discriminating between normal and abnormal findings.
  • Develops or assists in the development of a health care plan for primary care.
  • Initiates and provides emergency care services as appropriate in life-threatening situations.
  • Functions as part of the practice environment health care team by developing medical intervention programs designed to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Works in collaboration with a designated Physician.
  • Performs other duties as indicated or assigned by the Physician or the Practice Administrator.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current license from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing with fulfillment of all required CME requirements.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Current CPR Certification
