Development Coordinator

Corporate Development

We are searching for a full-time Development Coordinator to join our team.  Under the direction of the Vice President of Business Development, this position has the responsibility for ensuring De NoVo project tasks are completed and remain on the timeline for scheduled opening. Additionally, the Development Coordinator is responsible to independently perform all other Development tasks in a timely and professional manner as well as assisting with any or all tasks as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Review and markup leases for De Novo locations.
  • Maintain records of legal entities and corporate filings.
  • Review and analyze diligence documents for acquisition transactions.
  • Manage each De NoVo project Smartsheet tasks and follow-up on task deadlines as necessary.
  • Assist in the application process for building permits, occupancy permits, and business licenses as necessary.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing correspondence, agreements, exhibits, and other legal materials while maintaining version control and generating redlines of same.
  • Responsible for overall development functions in part by scheduling, attending, and direct participation in company and facility meetings.
  • Prepare memorandums to be directed to staff on Development issues.
  • Coordinate purchases of outpatient office equipment, clinical equipment, and supplies for De Novo outpatient offices and oversee the delivery timeframes as per company policy.
  • Work and learn independently to meet all scheduled deadlines.
  • Follow, track, and support document processes for transitional deals.
  • Navigate various file-sharing platforms.
  • Perform and assist with other related duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent. Associates degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Paralegal background or paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
  • At least five years of experience in a paralegal, clerical, or administrative role required. Preferably, however, is experience in Healthcare, specifically a Physical Therapy or Rehabilitation facility.
  • Experience in managing lease activities preferred, including but not limited to lease negotiations, reviews of lease language, lease execution, renewals, and expirations.
  • Must possess basic proficiency in English, spelling, and arithmetic.
  • Must be able to pay attention to details and have mature reasoning ability.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team of diverse individuals in multiple locations.
  • Must have above average and essential computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher.

Clinic Trainer

Corporate Training

We are searching for a full-time Clinic Trainer to join our team. This position would be a dynamic position with travel throughout the PHOENIX locations with a concentration in the Mid- Atlantic Region. The Clinic Trainer is responsible for assuring the Company that assigned and selected PHOENIX outpatient offices will attain a level of baseline competence in clinical and operational standards to improve and maximizes the potential for visits, quality care, performance metrics, and profitability through the use of various training initiatives.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational training to select outpatient offices and/or Facility Directors on a short term intensive basis, typically during the orientation phase of a new facility or Facility Director.
  • Provide relevant metrics of performance to an outpatient facility and to the staff of that office during the orientation phase and provide insight, training, and matrix/indirect leadership/direction on how to bring those metrics into line with appropriate Company averages and expectations.
  • Find creative solutions to difficult problems facing any outpatient office’s or Facility Director’s orientation phase and marshal resources available to provide the select outpatient office with the tools to improve and succeed.
  • Ensure that all assigned facilities are evaluated for performance to standards during their orientation period as per existing company policies.
  • Hold meetings with assigned Facility Directors to evaluate performance, assess areas of strengths and weaknesses, and provide annual master plans for the operations of outpatient offices.
  • Travel including car and air travel to designated assigned facilities as needed across the PHOENIX organization. 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Physical Therapy License which must be maintained.
  • Must have current CPR certification and willing to become a CPR Certified Instructor.
  • Three years previous health care experience required with management experience in outpatient physical therapy.
  • Excellent communication, computer, and organization skills.
