PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY…
“I believe the best way to provide quality care is through the use of the most up to date techniques, provided with a
caring touch, in a professional environment.
Physical therapy is based in medical science, though the provision of care is truly an art. I have continued to develop as
a scientist through taking various continuing education courses, membership in the American Physical Therapy Association,
obtaining my board certified orthopedic specialization and by seeking my doctorate. I practice physical therapy full time
and also teach as a lab instructor for continuing education courses at a local university.
Although therapy is scientifically based, the practicing clinician is an artist in his or her provision of services. The art
of physical therapy is a skill that is honed through practice, over time and by listening to our patients. My hope is to combine
art and science so that I can provide the best care to my patients with the ultimate goal of returning them to their maximum functional
level…in essence I want to give my patients as much of their lives back as I can, as quickly as possible.”
