PHOENIX Rehabilitation Distinguished as the 22nd Best Place to Work in PA

(Indiana, PA)-PHOENIX Rehabilitation and Health Services, Inc., a multi-location operator of outpatient physical therapy clinics throughout Pennsylvania was recently distinguished as the 22nd best place to work in Pennsylvania for 2012.

The Best Places to Work in PA awards program was created in 2000 and is one of the first of its kind offered by a state in the country.  The program is a public/private partnership of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and the Central Penn Business Journal. 

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.  The Best Places to Work in PA list is made up of 100 companies split into two groups: medium-sized companies (25-250 employees) and large-sized companies (251 or more employees).  PHOENIX Rehabilitation has been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA in the medium category.  These categories represent more than 80,000 persons employed in Pennsylvania. 

Eligible companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA.  The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics.  This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation.  The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience.   This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation.  The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.  Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process.
