PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY...

"Professionalism cannot be summed up in one word.  It is the demonstration of character, strengths and values directed toward the betterment of others.  As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, I uphold the ethical and standards of practice established by the APTA.  I believe it is my responsibility to respond to the needs of all my patients in a compassionate, honest and positive manner.  As a professional I respect the rights of others, provide a commitment to excellence through continued education and seek to improve the health of our local community."

DEDICATION TO PATIENTS...

"Plain and simple, it is treating others as I would want myself or my family to be treated.  I feel it is an honor and privilege to be able to "lay hands on" while caring for another human being.  Because patients can exercise the right to choose their physical therapy care, they are entitled to receive treatment options of which include the best available evidence based practice.  I believe all patients should have the option to be treated by the provider of their choice in a compassionate and caring manner.  Physical Therapy is not all about science.  It includes the art of motivating, provides compassion and assists others to accept and deal with lifestyle changes.  It is about maintaining or returning individuals to their highest possible level of independent function."

PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY...

"As physical therapist we are entrusted by the patients and the doctors who have enlisted our services with providing the most current and effective treatments in an honest and ethical manner.  It is our responsiblity to utilize the latest research when developing a treatment plan and to help educate patients so they can make a more informed decision when choosing between different treatment options.  Every patient deserves dignity, honesty, respect and the knowledge that their overall well-being is at the forefront of what we do as professionals."

DEDICATION TO PATIENTS...

"I believe in treating others as I would want to be treated...with compassion, respect, and individual attention.  No two patients are exactly alike and they deserve our time to fully explain their problems and to ask questions.  Talking the time to listen to patients is critical to discovering the source of their problems and can often help avoid unnecessary delays in their recovery.  I believe patient education and good communication are the cornerstones to a successful outcome."

"I greatly appreciated my overall care."
