PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY...
"Although therapy can be difficult, it should also be an enjoyable and positive experience. My goal is to provide treatment in a fun and relaxed setting where trust can be developed with each patient and family member.

Patients need to be free to ask questions and deserve honest and easily understood answers. They also need the education to help in their rehabilitation process. My professional goal is to provide educated, efficient and compassionate care."

PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY...
"Teamwork– patients, their families, physicians and therapists all need to be involved to reach rehabilitation goals. I understand that each person is different which allows me to create a specific and individual plan for each patient.

Included are each patient's perception of pain and injury, how he or she deals with it and what his or her goals are. By considering the whole person, physically and mentally, each session and therapy program are customized toward the patient, not just the program."

Michael G. Getz, PT, MS

Currently, Michael resides in Bloomsburg with his wife Mary and his son Matthew.

PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY...
“I am committed to the profession of physical therapy.  I stay current with treatment programs and literature which helps me to provide quality care to all of my patients.  I believe that staying current in my field allows me to better inform my patients of their condition and plan the best course of treatment for each patient.”

PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY...

“I am committed to providing my patients with quality care and personalized, one-on-one treatment.  I believe strongly in patient education so patients will understand their treatment plan.  I believe that treatment plans need to be designed to fit the individual needs of the patient in order to achieve the goals set by both the patient and the therapist.”

"Congenial, helpful professionals who explain what is being done."
