PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY...
"I am absolutely committed to clinical excellence by
providing the highest quality care in the most efficient
manner possible. I have worked in a variety of clinical
settings including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing
facilities, home health agencies and exercise rehabilitation
clinics. In addition to collegiate studies, I have attended
many continuing education courses and I have clinical
experience in aquatic therapy and vestibular/balance
rehabilitation."
PATIENT CARE PHILOSOPHY...
"Very simply, my philosophy is getting the patient better in
the shortest amount of time through the most effective means
possible. I put a tremendous amount of effort into educating
the patient about their medical condition. Education, along
with proper treatment, serves to inform the patient about
the consequences of their condition and in turn, what they
can do to best help themselves get better. Most importantly,
once the patient is better, education serves to maintain
gains made during treatment and prevent recurrence."

PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY...
“My goal as an
occupational therapist is to empower my patients by teaching
them about their condition, how to care for and live with
their condition and to serve as their guide in reaching
their goals and achieving independence. I think it is
important to treat each person as a unique individual and
listen to their needs, prioritize their goals and do all in
my ability to help them attain those goals knowing each
person reacts differently to a disease or injury.”
DEDICATION
TO MY PATIENTS...
“I will
strive to maximize my patients performance by creating and
administering effective treatment plans. Moreover, the
rehabilitation process is a team effort— an open line of
communication between the patient, their doctor and other
rehabilitation staff to help obtain mutually established
goals is key.”
